Chisinau Zimbru's forward Oleg Andronic, who is also the current top striker of the Moldovan premiership, has told Info-Prim Neo that he wants to leave the competence of referee Veaceslav Banari uncommented. Yet he added: “Since they decided to leave Banari unpunished for his refereeing performance during the 13 Round match against Iskra-Stal, there's nothing else for me to do but to respect it. But I must say it pissed me off that referee Banari booked me for a few complaints about how I was being pressed on by the opposing defenders”. The disciplinary commission of the Moldovan Football Federation confirmed earlier that Banari was wrong not to award Zimbru a penalty kick for a foul against Oleg Andronic in the box, but imposed no sanction on the referee. Asked about the reasons for his rather frequent bookings, the young forward explained that his temperament as well as his advanced position determined him to be more assertive on each scoring occasion. “At the beginning of the championship I was extremely nervous on the pitch. The referees' way of ruling in certain instances of the game irritated me at a certain point. But now I'm calmer”, he says. Andronic scored as many as nine goals this season. The 19-year-old striker made his mark on the Moldovan football as the fastest scorer with a goal in the 8th second of the disputed game with Iskra-Stal on September 21.
