Zimbru Chisinau plays against the champion of Albania KF Vlazznia in the first leg of the first qualifying round of the UEFA Youth League in the evening of September 26, IPN reports.
“We have trained very seriously for this match. The team wants to make its debut in the Youth League. We have footballers who also played for the senior team, such as Stana, Nagornyi, Yurashko and Scoarta,” the coach of Zimbru U-19 Valeriu Andronic told a news conference.
“We want to have a long path in this tournament. We are motivated to have a good performance,” said halfback Victor Stana.
The encounter between Zimbru and Vlazznia is played at the Zimbru Stadium starting at 7pm. The game will be controlled by Armenian referee Zaven Ovanisean.
