Zimbru Chisinau defeated 2-1 Iskra-Stal Rybnitsa, one of the leaders of the National Division, in an exhibition match on Thursday to mark their first victory in 2010, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The winning goal was scored by Kaloian Angelov of Bulgaria, who is on a trial period with Zimbru. The next match of the Chisinau-based club is scheduled for February 16, when Zimbru will encounter Ukraine's Dniester Ovidiopol.
Iskra-Stal has also a few players on trial, including 23-year-old Joel Apetijia of Cuba and Claudio Leal Costa of Brazil.
The Rybnitsa-based club on February 13 will be off for a training camp in Ukraine, where it will play 3 exhibition matches.
