The winner of this duel is to play a two-legged tie against Sheriff in the semifinals of the Cup. The team from Tiraspol beat Victoria 3-1 in Chisinau.
In the other match of the semifinals, Petrocub will play against the winner of the encounter between Dacia Buiucani and CSF Balti, which will be decided on Thursday. Petrocub demolished FC Stauceni 4-1 after being led until the 79th minute. Cristian Axenti, Sergiu Platica, David Abagna and Seidu Basit scored for Petrocub.
