Zaria Balti needed the penalty shootout to eliminate Sarajevo from the UEFA Europa League. The team trained by Vlad Goian lost in Bosnia 1-2, but won the match played in Chisinau by the same score, IPN reports.
The hosts led by 2-0 after the first half following the goals scored by Hebibovic (13th minute) and Kadusic (35th, penalty). Ukrainian player Sergey Zagynaylov took the game to overtime after scoring in the 60th minute. Sarajevo had the chance to score the victory goal in the 86th minute, but Crnkic missed a penalty. In the 94th minute, Zaria remained in numeric inferiority after fullback Andrei Novicov was sent off. Even so, Zaria won the penalty shootout by 6-5. In the next round, the team from Balti plays against Apollon of Cyprus.
Instead, Milsami and Dacia were eliminated from the UEFA Europa League. Milsami was beaten by Fola Esch in Orhei 1-1 after losing 1-2 in Luxemburg. Dacia lost the match played in Speia against Shkendija 0-4, with Oleg Andronic being sent off when the score was 0-1. In Macedonia, Shkendija won by 3-0.
