A five-year youth strategy for the municipality of Chisinau is being drawn up. A working group consisting of representatives of the local public administration, youth workers and NGOs are defining the strategic development directions of the youth sector, IPN reports.
In a press release, the public association “Pro Comunitate” says the strategic plan will include a series of actions to monitor and assess the youth sector. The strategy will be approved by the Chisinau Municipal Council. The results will be assessed at the end of each implementation year, while the action plan will be updated.
The youth strategic plan forms part of the Municipal Youth Strategies Project that is implemented in four communities of the country by the Center “Pro Comunitate”, in partnership with the General Division of Education, Youth and Sport of Chisinau. The activity is financed by the Ministry of Youth and Sport within the 2015 Grants Program that is designed to foster the development of the youth NGO sector of Moldova.
