Youth, invited to join contest on migration and diversity

Moldovan youths are invited to join a video contest about migration and diversity. The applicants have to submit a short video (1-5 minutes) of any style or genre (cartoon, documentary, drama, etc.), in which they should evince their thoughts, experiences, opinions, questions or suggestions on topics related to migration and diversity, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to a communique of the International Organization for Migration (IOM), the video clips festival PLURAL + of 2009 pursues to promote the youth in tackling subjects related to integration, identity, diversity, human rights and social cohesion in the entire world. There are very few ways to process the emotional impact implied by high-scale migration. That is why it's extremely important to tackle this issue in a way interesting for the youths, reads the communique. The contest PLURAL + will have three age categories and will offer the participants international and national access. The deadline to present the materials is September 30, 2009 for the contest PLURAL + International and November 15, 2009 for PLURAL +MOLDOVA.
