The Ministry of Youth and Sport is launching a contest to give another three categories of awards within the 2014 Youth Awards Gala, IPN reports.
According to a communiqué of the Ministry, awards will be offered in the categories: youth specialist of the year; the most active youth center, and the most active local youth council.
Two prizes will be awarded in the youth specialist of the year category, one to youth specialists of the public administration of the first level and one to youth specialists of the public authorities of the second level. The most active youth center will be awarded for active participation in the implementation of youth policies at regional and national levels, while the local youth council of the year – for active participation in the public life and for promotion of active citizenship.
The awardees will receive diplomas and money. Applications should be filed to the Youth Division of the Ministry of Youth and Sport by October 17, to the email address rodica.catareu@mts.gov.md or to the Ministry’s head office at MD-2004, Chisinau 162 Stefan cel Mare si Sfant Blvd. The consultant of the Ministry’s Youth Division Rodica Catareu can be contacted on (022) 820-864.
