A young woman driving without license collided with two minibuses and was hospitalized as a result.
According to the inspector of the Road Traffic Security Service, Ion Roscovanu the accident occurred in Durlesti town, on Dimo Street at 9.00. The woman aged 24 was driving without license a Volkswagen-Golf. Because she did not offer right of way she collided with a minibus, route no. 124. As a result, the automobile was propelled into another minibus, route no. 101. As a consequence, the automobile was considerably damaged, and the young woman was hospitalized with head trauma and fracture of the right hand.
Two persons were injured in a road accident occurred on Causeni-Leuseni roadway. A Mercedes-213 van was driven by a man aged 27. As a result of the excessive speed and because of the low visibility caused by fog, the minibus entered on the other side of the motorway and collided head-on with a Moscvici-2141. As a consequence, a woman aged 30 suffered a fracture of the shoulder and another one aged 52 suffered clavicle fracture.
Over the past 24 hours, the Road Police of Chisinau reported 18 road accidents with 4 injured persons. 11 intoxicated drivers were found out and another 88 were fined for speeding, 43 for ignoring the light of the semaphore and 57 for not using the seat belt.
