Young woman survives fall from 8th floor

A young woman aged 22 was hospitalised in the intensive care section, being in an extremely serious condition after falling on Wednesday from the 8th floor of an apartment block located in Ciocana district. The coordinating-doctor of the Emergency Service of Chisinau Anatol Proca told Info-Prim Neo that the incident occurred at 14.00 at the house 19/2 located on Milescu Spataru Street. As a result of the impact, the girl suffered open fracture of the head, fracture of the left temporal bone, head concussions of internal bodies and of the thorax. The incident occurred only one day after a similar lethal incident happened. An unidentified woman died after she fell from the 10th floor of an apartment block located on Dacia Boulevard in Chisinau. Police investigates both cases to find whether they are suicides or murders. The inhabitants of a dwelling located on Hristo Botev Street could have died because of a drunken neighbour aged 54, who decided to kill herself with natural gas. The woman aged 54 opened the gas range trying to intoxicate herself and die in this way. Yesterday, the Emergency Service received 720 calls, including 8 cases of flu, 130 cases of virosis, 55 cases of traumatism, 7 head ictuses and 3 heart attack.
