Young volunteers tidy up area around Chisinau Zoo

About 50 young volunteers have tidied up the area around the Chisinau Zoo. They titled their drive “Let's live for the common well-being”, as they were conduced by the charity organization “IRFF Onlus”, Info-Prim Neo reports. The NGO's manager, Nicolae Carpala, says the action has been attended by representatives of “IRFF Onlus”, students and teachers of Nicolae Iorga high school. “We gather the garbage that does not decompose, like plastic and glass, which are harmful for man,” he said. “IRFF Onlus” bought gloves and bags to collect the waste, and the Botanica district office and the municipal cleaning enterprise gave them a tractor to evacuate it. “This action is part of our initiative called “Adopt a park!” in which we propose every school to take care of a park near it,” said the manager of the charity NGO. Earlier, they collected the waste from Valea Tradafirilor park.
