An exhibition with the possibility to buy the art works created by the young people with disabilities from Moldova will take place at the National History Museum in Chisinau, during August 20-26.
The exhibition “Amprente” (Fingerprints) offers to the young people with disabilities the possibility to present their works in front of the public from Chisinau. The exhibition is a part of an information campaign which aims at changing the attitude of the society about the disabled persons.
Besides the exhibited works, the organisers will also present a photo exhibition presenting the talent and the effort of disabled children and young people during the creation process.
Previously there were organised a series of events during the campaign, such as opening art studios, creating a documentary film, organising seminars about the high-education opportunities for the disabled young people, creating a network of volunteers, publishing the newspaper “Amprente”.
The exhibition is a part of campaign’s plan of actions “Disability with Ability”, administrated by the Representative of American Councils for International Education and financed by the Embassy of Norway in Bucharest and partially by the US Embassy in Chisinau.
