During a week, 90 young persons from a number of high schools trained ninth graders how to set objectives and achieve success, give public speeches and manage the time within the “UpGreat” Project launched by AISEC, Info-Prim Neo reports. Project coordinator Anastasia Pociumban told a news conference that 90 students selected out of 112 applicants received training during a week. Afterward, they themselves trained ninth graders. Project counselor Alina Rusu, who is a representative of the National Youth Center, said that such activities are traditional for AISEC. “We must invest in the young people when they are in school. The project is very important as the young people learn how to transmit their knowledge to other people,” said Alina Rusu. Ecaterina Covali, the head of the Young Journalist's Center of Moldova, said she liked to work with high school students who are receptive and interested in everything that is new. “The young people enriched their knowledge and shared the accumulated experience. We must invest in them as much as we can,” she said. One of the participants in the project Valeriu Dragalin, of “Mihai Sadoveanu” High School, said the project showed that the young people in Moldova have great chances to develop multilaterally. Another participant, Nadeja Dimitri, of “Minerva” High School, said that besides finding out new things, she made new friends. The project will be closed on December 19, when there will be announced the winners. The prizes will be offered by the publishing house “Pro Noi”.
