The young people are a force – this is the message conveyed by the high school students involved in the Partnership for a Clean Environment Project. They study at the high school in Parlita, Falesti and have been engaged in the project by the public organization “Caroma-Nord”, Info-Prim Neo reports. The ecological education project Partnership for a Clean Environment is centered on experience and knowledge exchange between organizations from Hungary, Romania and Moldova. It stimulates cooperation and creation of new partnerships. It is an initiative that can help protect the environment by carrying out activities at the local, regional and foreign levels and by strengthening the capacities for action of the young people, NGOs and local public administrations of the countries involved, “Caroma-Nord” says in a communique. Within the project, the young people from Parlita launched a campaign themed “Together for a Cleaner Environment” that will close on December 1. During a month, there were mounted cleanup campaigns in communities, workshops in schools and different exhibitions on ecological themes. Cleopatra Zelinski, national coordinator of the project, said the young people should join forces and make the others realize the latest climate changes that have a significant impact on the ecosystems, biodiversity, natural resources and on the people's health. On December 8, when it is marked the Global Day of Action against Climate Change, the members of “Caroma-Nord” will stage a protest march in several places simultaneously - in Chiscareni, Sangerei, and Elizaveta villages of Falesti, in Glodeni town and in other settlements. “Our message remains a challenge for all the volunteers who want to get involved in cleanup activities at community level,” said Cleopatra Zelinski.
