Young people can file applications to take part in the Municipal Youth Award 2018 contest until October 15. The award was instituted by the General Division of Education, Culture, Youth and Sport of the Chisinau Municipal Council and is provided annually for accomplishments in science, technology, literature and arts and civic activism, IPN reports.
The Division said the contest is open to young people aged between 18 and 35 inclusive and to groups of authors of at most five persons with innate capacities, innovative spirit and special results.
The right to propose candidates is offered to the administration bodies of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova, higher education establishments, councils of young scientists of scientific research institutions, creation unions, specialized newspapers and journals, culture, youth and sport divisions of local public authorities, youth NGOs and representative youth bodies of Chisinau municipality. Independent candidates can also present works.
The files should be submitted to the evaluation commission, in two copies, to 99 Mitropolit Dosoftei St, office 14, Chisinau.
