A group of young people with initiative launched the campaign #totiegali, which is aimed at cultivating tolerance in the Republic of Moldova. The campaign forms part of the project “Supporting Equality”, which is designed to combat stereotypes in society and to reduce the discriminatory factor, IPN reports.
According to a press release of the group of young people, all those who promote the equality of rights between people can take part in this campaign by posting, on social networking sites, a photo with an anti-discriminatory message alongside the hashtags: #toțiegali și #supportingequality
“Supporting Equality” was initiated within the summer school “Wave Week Moldova” that was organized by the Association of Creative Students and “Spark the Wave”.
Those interested are invited to the opening of the project “Speak Up: Stop Discrimination” in the central park of Chisinau on September 11. The participants will be able to discuss with discriminated persons and to take part in recreational and motivational activities.
