The group of young people, including minors, who were arrested on March 25 while they were heading for the Great National Assembly Square with masks on their faces and rucksacks on the back to enter the crowd, will be investigated for hooliganism. The police said a criminal case was started and this involves 21 young people, IPN reports.
According to the statements made by the young people, a group was set up on a social networking site. A part of those who joined this on March 24 took part in a meeting in Botanica district, where they agreed to go to the central square of Chisinau on March 25 to show there disagreement with the Great Centenary Assembly. At about 11:30am on March 25, about 50 persons gathered together near the lake in Valea Morilor Park where they planned the future steps. They formed two groups. The police arrested 21 young persons and are looking for the others.
The police said there were daggers, knives and cudgels in the rucksacks.
