The youth wing of the European People’s Party of Moldova (PPEM) founded an organization. The constitution congress was held on October 11. The young members of the PPEM aim to become the most influential youth political organization in Eastern Europe, IPN reports.
The delegates to the congress unanimously voted to create the Youth Organization of the PPEM (TPPEM). Ion Ranga, who is studying for his master’s degree at the Babes-Bolyai University in Romania’s Cluj-Napoca, was elected chairman out of three candidates. In his speech, Ion Ranga assured that he will make effort for the youth wing of the PPEM to become the most powerful youth organization in Eastern Europe.
At the end of the congress, there was presented the Manifesto of the TPPEM, which calls on all the young people of Moldova to take an active part in the sociopolitical life of the country. The goal of the team of TPPEM is to become the most attractive youth political organization in Moldova, which will unite the young people around the idea of European integration.
