Young man survives fall from fifth storey

A young man was admitted to hospital on Sunday after falling from the fifth storey of a dwelling block in the capital. He is in a severe health condition. According to Chisinau Emergency Service doctor coordinator, Silvia Babara, the young man, aged 22, native of Vasieni village, Ialoveni, at 10.30 pm fell from the fifth storey of the block no. 34 on Hancesti Blvd. The young man suffered multiple injuries and was taken to the Emergency Hospital. Centru police are handling the case. One hour later, a 39-year old man was attacked by unidentified persons in the very front of his house located on Milescu Spataru Street. The man was admitted to the Emergency Hospital. A man, 24, resident of Buiucani district, has suddenly died after he had had a glass of water. Forensics service is to establish the reason the young man’s death. At 7.30, an unidentified man, aged 45, was found in alcoholic coma on Matei Basarab Street. On Saturday, two sisters aged 14 and 15, got poisoned with carbon monoxide. Doctors managed to save them. On Saturday and Sunday, the emergency doctors registered 1163 calls, including 98 cases of trauma and 12 brain ictuses.
