Young man shot dead during hunting

A man aged 27 from Puhoi village, Ialoveni was shot dead by his elder brother while they were poaching in the wood. Anatol Rusica, the head of the Ministry of the Interior's Public Security Division, told a news conference that the shot was fired accidentally. The elder brother was bearing the gun on his shoulder, with the barrel aimed backwards. It was discharged by accident. The bullet penetrated the younger brother who was going behind. The 29-year-old man is under arrest and faces a jail term. None of the brothers had a hunting authorization and a gun permit.
