Young man kills cousin with spade, father tries to murder son

A 28-year-old man from Hancesti district was sentenced to 16 years in prison for killing his cousin, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communique from the Prosecutor General's Office. According to the investigators, the cousins drank alcohol together at the victim's house and then started to argue. The man punched his cousin and then hit him with a picket and a spade. The victim died as a result of his injuries. A man aged 39 from Ceadar-Lunga district got eight years for trying to murder his son while he was sleeping. The disagreements between the two appeared when the father married the second time. Another quarrel resulted in death in Chisinau's Ciocana district. A 20-year-old man is charged with beating his uncle to death and faces up to 15 years in jail.
