A man aged 32 was discovered dead near Mihălășeni village of Ocnița district. He was noticed by passersby. He turned out to be an inhabitant of the neighboring commune Ocnița of the same district.
Svetlana Talpă, press officer of the Ocnița Police Inspectorate, told IPN that signs of violence, such as bruises and excoriations, were found on the man’s body. A medical examination will be performed to find out the cause of death.
Legal action over murder was taken in this case.
Contacted by IPN for details, mayor of Ocnița commune Ion Creangă said he talked to the 32-year-old man one day earlier. He was a non-conflicting person from a decent family. He worked more abroad and had a child from the first marriage.
