A 27-year-old man died from electrocution when he tried to put out a fire that engulfed his shed in the courtyard and touched a non-isolated electrical cable. The man was an employee of the Border Police, IPN reports.
The accident happened this morning. In a communiqué, the Border Police says Lieutenant-Major Serghei Covali had worked in the Otaci Border Police Sector of the Regional Division Nord since June 2010 and was an active and responsible employee. Eleven days ago, he got married.
