A man aged 22 lost his life after a pile of earth fell over him during excavation works for building a sewerage system in Stăuceni commune of Chisinau municipality.
Contacted by IPN, press officer of the Chisinau Police Division Natalia Stati said doctors’ efforts to resuscitate him failed. The body was taken to the medical examination center according to procedures.
A criminal case was started to determine all the circumstances of this incident. The Labor Inspectorate was also notified of this case.
