A young man hanged himself, while a woman of advanced age was taken to hospital for detox after she had tried to commit suicide.
Doctor coordinator of the Chisinau Emergency Service Evelina Rusu told Info-Prim Neo that on Saturday, at 16.00, a man, 25, was found hanged in his own flat located on Gheorghe Casu Street.
On the same day, a 70-year old woman took an overdose of drugs and alcohol, trying to kill herself. The woman was saved and admitted to “Sfanta Treime” Hospital for detox.
On Sunday, at 17.00, an unknown man aged almost 50, was found with head injuries and in a II degree coma on the territory of the Central Market. The police are carrying out investigation into the case.
On Saturday and Sunday, the Emergency Service registered 1171 calls for medical aid, including 6 stroke cases.
