Even if doctors manage to save him, a 23-year-old man could remain confined to bed for the rest of his life after falling from height.
Ludmila Untura, doctor coordinator at the Chisinau Emergency Service, told Info-Prim Neo that the man, a Drochia resident, was on a courtesy visit at an apartment on Aldea-Teodorovici Street last evening. It’s currently unknown what happened there, but at around 10:30 PM, the man fell from the fourth storey, suffering very serious injuries. Preliminary investigations of the ambulance doctors revealed that the victim suffered multiple fall-from-height-associated traumas, open head trauma, wound to the occipital zone and, possibly, backbone fracture. Police are currently conducting an investigation into the circumstances of the accident.
