Young drunk driver causes accident that hurt four persons

A 19-year-old man driving a Mercedes under the influence of alcohol was responsible for a head-on collision with a Moskvich car on the Bender-Rezeni roadway on Friday, Info-Prim Neo reports. Four persons were injured in the collision, including the responsible driver. The other driver sustained a spinal fracture in the lumbar region, while his passenger, a 14-year-old girl, suffered an open fracture of her right forearm. The drunk driver and his passenger suffered head traumas. Elsewhere, a truck collided with a tree at a high speed; the driver and his passenger were admitted to the nearest hospital, in Soldanesti, with head and facial injuries. In Chisinau, an electric car on route 10 struck a 56-year-old male bicyclist; he was admitted to the Emergency hospital. On Friday, the traffic police registered 9 accidents with 9 people injured on Moldova’s roads.
