Young artist from Moldova takes part in international online music contest

Young Moldovan artist Angelica Vasilcov is participating in the international online contest Music Mogul. She is one step away from the final and needs her compatriots’ votes in order to reach it. Angelica made her debut at the program “From 5 to 10” at TVM. She was born in Cupcini village of Edinet district. Her family lives in Cupcini. She is a student of the Bucharest Music University, the Piano Department. A year and a half ago, she started to post her won songs and songs of well-known singers sung by her on the international website Youtube. Her songs have been listened to and watched more than 6 million times. The subscribers to her profile www.youtube.com/AngelicaV1 total over 20.000. She ranks ninth as the most subscribed artist in Canada and 22nd as the most popular artist on the Internet ever. Now she badly needs support as she must garner a lot of votes in order to qualify for the Music Mogul final. The four finalists will be decided on May 25. Angelica has great chances to rank among the top artists by the number of votes. Now she takes the fifth position. The finalists will go to Los Angeles, while the winner will sign a contract with the producer Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins.
