The State Hydrometeorological Service has issued a yellow warning for snow and sleet. In the period between December 27, 8pm, and December 28, 9am, there will be heavy precipitation all over Moldova (7-15 mm). Ice and snowdrifts will form on roads, IPN reports.
On December 28, 2021, daytime temperatures will vary between -4 and +1 degrees Celsius. The wind will blow at a speed of 3-8 meters per second. On the night of December 29, the temperatures will plummet to -13 degrees Celsius.
There will be snow and sleet in Moldova until January 1 inclusive. Nighttime temperatures on December 30 and January 1 will oscillate between - 6 and +1 degrees Celsius, while daytime temperatures – between - 1 and +7 degrees Celsius.
