The ongoing yellow security alert on the left side of the Nistru River was extended until November 5, IPN reports.
The de facto administration of the Transnistrian region at the end of April introduced a red alert after a series of explosions that occurred in the region. A month later, the alert level was downgraded to yellow and was then extended for several times.
Among the introduced measures are the registration of citizens when these move through checkpoints set up by Tiraspol and heightening of inspections of vehicles entering or leaving the region.
