The de facto administration of the Transnistrian region has extended the ongoing yellow security alert by another 15 days.
At the end of April, the Transnistrian administration first introduced a red alert after a series of explosions that occurred in the region. A month later, the alert level was downgraded to yellow.
Among the introduced measures are the requirement to register citizens when moving through checkpoints set up by Tiraspol, and heightened inspections of vehicles entering or leaving the region, and of those located in railway stations.
