Weather forecasters issued a yellow code advisory for precipitation of up to 15-20 liters per square meter, in parts of even 20-25 liters per square meters, for February 15, IPN reports.
There will be snow and sleet in northern and central Moldova. In the southern districts, it will predominantly rain. According to forecasters, hoarfrost will form on cables and branches and snowdrifts will appear on roads.
The lowest temperatures this night will be -5 … -7 degrees Celsius, while the highest temperatures on February 14 will be +2 … +4 degrees Celsius. On February 15, the temperature lows will oscillate between -3 and +2 degrees Celsius, while the highs will vary between +3 and +5 degrees Celsius. On February 16, the temperatures will start to drop.
