China is ready to cooperate with the Republic of Moldova so as to extend mutually advantageous cooperation relations in different areas and to strengthen friendship between the two states, promoting consistent development of the bilateral relationship, said China’s Ambassador to Moldova Yan Wenbin, who presented his credentials to President Maia Sandu, IPN reports, quoting a press release of the Embassy of China in the Republic of Moldova.
According to the ambassador, during the 30 years of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Moldova, the bilateral relations have maintained a stable development pace. Mutual political confidence between the two countries was strengthened continuously, while practical cooperation continued to expand. The two sides get along together and support each other in issues concerning the key interests of the other side.
The diplomat noted that since the COVID-19 outbreak started, China and Moldova have supported each other, fully reflecting the traditional friendship between the two nations.
For her part, President Maia Sandu appreciated the Moldovan-Chinese relations and the accomplishments of cooperation in different areas and thanked China for the long-term assistance for the Moldova’s economic and social development.
President Sandu noted that the program “Criuleni Photovoltaic Park” that was financed by the Government of China was implemented successfully, bringing concrete benefits to the citizens of Moldova. Moldova is eager to step up the exchanges and cooperation with China in different sectors so as to together raise the bilateral relations to a new level.
Ambassador Yan Wenbin arrived in Moldova on December 26, 2021 and presented the copies of his credentials to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of the Republic of Moldova on January 11, 2022.
