A participant in the events dedicated to the WWII Victory Day, which were organised on Wednesday, May 9, in Chisinau, suffered heart attack and was hospitalised. Doctor coordinator of the Chisinau Emergency Service Eufalia Negreata told Info-Prim Neo that the veteran aged 80 called one of the four ambulances, which escorted the officials from the centre of the capital to “Eternity” Memorial. Another ten veterans, including one aged 91, who complained of heartache and high blood pressure, also needed medical care. Also on that day, a man, 63, who abused his body with alcohol on Victory Day, also required medical aid. Over the past 24 hours, the Chisinau Emergency Service registered 704 calls, 11 of which were reacted to by the teams of doctors who were on guard during the festivities.
