Moldova’s freestyle wrestlers Radu Lefter (97 kg) and Maxim Saculțan (65 kg) were eliminated in the 1/8 finals of the Paris Olympic Games, IPN reports.
Radu Lefter lost to Poland’s Zbigniew Mateusz Baranowski 2-8, and Maxim Saculțan was defeated by Japan’s Kotaro Kiyooka 0-10.
This was the debut of the freestyle wrestlers at the Olympic Games.
