Two projects in the justice sector, which will have a positive impact on the business climate, are to be implemented with the technical support of the World Bank. The subject was discussed by Minister of Justice Vladimir Cebotari with representatives of the World Bank in Moldova on November 10, IPN reports.
According to the Ministry of Justice, the projects will center on the development of extra-judicial mediation and facilitator of access to justice, especially for victims of domestic violence and marginalized sections of society.
Furthermore, there will be formulated specific recommendations that will be taken into account when working out the next justice sector reform strategy. The Ministry of Justice informed about the intention to include a separate chapter for adjusting the legislation on contracts, copyright and insolvability so as to improve the economic activity conditions.
World Bank Country Manager for Moldova Anna Akhalkatsi said that to improve the working conditions of entrepreneurs, adjustments are needed in the public administration, noting that the WB will assist Moldova in the process of reorganizing courts of law.
