The World Bank and the Government of Moldova are due to sign three lending agreements worth a total of 30 million USD at the start of the next month, Info-Prim Neo reports. In April, the WB and the Government of Moldova negotiated the Second Poverty Reduction Support Credit and two investment projects on water supply and irrigation development for combating drought. The credits to support these projects were approved by the World Bank Board on May 13, 2008 in the amount of 10 million USD, 14 million USD and 6 million USD. All three credits are offered on standard IDA terms, with 40-years maturity and a 10-year grace period, at an interest rate of 0.75% per annum and a commitment fee of 0.5%. The Government empowered Minister of Finance Mariana Durlesteanu to sign the three agreements.
