The Chisinau City Hall, through the Public Amenities Division, during the past three years executed repair and other kinds of works in Țânțăreni commune of Anenii Noi district, where the solid waste from Chisinau is stored, to the value of 13.85 million lei, with the money being allocated from the municipal budget, Vasile Efros, head of the Division’s Cleanup and Territorial Development Division, has told IPN.
In particular, the Public Amenities Division put up a fence at the secondary school in Tânțăreni, renovated the existing fence, repaired the pavilions at the local kindergarten and set up three playgrounds and a sports ground on the kindergarten’s territory.
There were also performed road repair and dry tree felling works in the commune. The lawn on the kindergarten’s territory was ameliorated. Public lighting was modernized. There were replaced 20,000 meters of cable and 478 lamps. The drinking water treatment station was put into operation again.
All the works were performed with municipal funds in accordance with a civil society contract signed by the Chisinau City Hall and the Țânțăreni mayor’s office in July 2017.
