Works to remove billboards on Dacia Blvd. were executed on credit

The works to take away the billboards placed on Dacia Blvd. in Botanica district of Chisinau were carried out on credit, said the district’s head Vladimir Guritsenko. He informed that the district head’s office owes over 300,000 lei to the company that performed the works, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to Vladimir Guritsenko, the district head’s office does not have money for the future works either. It also cannot take away the closed kiosks. Mayor Dorin Chirtoaca instructed the Finance Division to allocate money for paying the debts and to once again review spending for this year. A sum of 700,000 lei was earmarked for removing the nonfunctional kiosks and billboards in Chisinau municipality in 2013.
