A standing working group will be constituted to supervise the quality of food in the kindergartens of Chisinau following a request made by 30 parents, who submitted a petition to deputy mayor Nistor Grozavu in the July 24 meeting of officials of municipal services, IPN reports.
Ala Revenko, leader of the public organization “Solidary Parents”, said the menu at the kindergarten that is attended by her child has included mainly porridge and milk and no fresh fruit and other necessary products. Even if they signaled the problem of alimentation in kindergartens for several times, this was solved for only a short period of time. The supervisory group should work on a permanent basis and should include parents.
Nistor Grozavu said the working group will consist of officials of the Health Division, the Municipal Public Health Center and other authorities. He assured that he will personally become involved in the activity of the group.
