Head of Parliament Andrian Candu ordered to constitute a working group whose task will be to adjust the national mass media legislation to the European standards, IPN reports.
According to the Government’s press service, the experts will focus on the working out of a new Broadcasting Code. The process of drafting media regulations in accordance with European standards is supported by the Council of Europe, which will take part in the formulation of the working rules of the group.
Representatives of broadcasters, members of public institutions working in the field and representatives of civil society with experience in broadcasting are invited to submit applications to Parliament or the email address press@parlament.md and cem@parlament.md by 4pm on April 24 to work on this group.
