“Wonderland” Theater opens season on May 23

The “Wonderland” Theater whose actors are children starts work in Chisinau. The performances will take place in schools, placement centers and kindergartens and on the stage of “Licurici” Theater starting from May 23. The theater is a project of the Studio “Artis”, Info-Prim Neo reports. Cristina Popovici, artistic manager of the Studio “Artis” and animator of the “Wonderland” Theater”, told a news conference that the first performances will be “Little Red Riding Hood”, “The Kid with Three Nanny Goats”, “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs”, and “Fight Battle”. The season will be opened by the play “Little Red Riding Hood” at “Mircea Eliade” High School on May 23, at 9.20. Entrance to most of the performances will be free of charge, except at the institutions that will charge a rent for the hall. The tickets to the plays that will be performed at “Licurici” will cost 10 lei for children and 15 lei for grownups. The Studio “Artis” will also organize a summer school, which will be called “Wonderland” too. The program will include trips, interactive and intellectual games, music and dance activities, and presentations for parents. A ticket for ten days will cost 1,000 lei. The actors of the Theater for Children and Youth “Wonderland” are aged between three and 18.
