Women’s U-19 team suffers defeats

The national women’s U-19 squad suffered more defeats in the international football tournament “Kubanskaya Vesna” that is taking place in Sochi, Russia. On March 13, the team trained by Victor Greapca was beaten by Estonia’s squad 0-1 in a match of the mini-tournament for the 9th -12th places, Info-Prim Neo reports. The Moldovan footballers had the fifth consecutive defeat in this competition and scored no goal. In the first games, they lost to Iran 0-4, North Korea 0-1, the team of Krasnodar region 0-2, and Russia 0-2. Moldova will play one more match on March 15, against Azerbaijan. If the footballers suffer a new defeat, they will rank last in the tournament.
