The woman who this summer tried to kill her children and to then kill herself suffers from schizophrenia. Prosecutors will demand that the court should oblige her to receive medical treatment for a period. The case was sent to court, IPN reports.
According to the Prosecutor General’s Office, the defendant was classed as incompetent and was admitted to the psychiatric hospital.
In August, the 36-year-old woman stabbed her 12-year-old son and her daughter aged one and then tried to commit suicide. She was prevented by her mother-in-law who called and ambulance. All the three survived.
The one-year-old girl was hospitalized with multiple wounds. Fortunately, none of the vital organs were penetrated. The boy aged 12 had been in intensive care for a period. He had several tendons and veins cut. He lost a lot of blood and needed transfusion.
