Liliana Puscasu of the Fire & Rescue Dept. has told Info-Prim Neo that the fire broke out at 14:00 in a home on Studentilor Street. Apparently the cause was a defective electrical cable. Firefighters evacuated the residents from nearby apartments to avoid other cases of carbon monoxide poisoning.
