Woman struggles for life after suffering heart attack

A 38-year-old woman is in the hospital in a serious condition. On Sunday, June 6, she suffered a heart attack and cardiogenic shock. Eufalia Negreata, coordinating doctor of the Chisinau Ambulance Service, has told Info-Prim Neo that the ambulance team found the woman in a critical condition. The relatives said the woman never complained of heart trouble. A heart attack occurs when blood flow to a section of heart muscle becomes blocked. If the flow of blood isn’t restored quickly, the section of heart muscle becomes damaged from lack of oxygen and begins to die. Eight persons were admitted to Saint Trinity Hospital for detox last weekend after they poisoned with mushrooms. Yesterday and last night, the Chisinau ambulance teams traveled to 747 addresses, dealing with five strokes, 100 cases of trauma, 63 cases of acute viral infection, 22 cases of pneumonia and 21 deliveries.
