A 55-year-old Chisinau woman committed suicide by shooting herself in the head in her suburban home yesterday night, apparently to spare herself from the sufferings of a tumor, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The pistol used by the woman is registered in the name of her husband and was kept in a strongbox inside the house, a police spokesperson said. The husband is the manager of a guard and security agency and holds a handgun license.
The woman left behind two major children.
