Woman saved from death by rescuers

A woman aged 32 was close to drowning after she got stuck in mud in the waterside of the Prut River. It happened near Leova town. Sergiu Barbu, press officer of the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service, told Info-Prim Neo that the area is not inhabited. The woman was in the mud up to the waist. She was noticed by border guards. They called the rescuers, who saved her. The woman was under the influence of alcohol. She suffers from a handicap. No other details are known yet.
