A woman died in a fire that occurred in a five-story apartment building situated on Dacia Blvd in Botanica district of Chisinau, IPN reports.
According to the General Inspectorate for Emergencies, the call to the 112 Service was made at 09:27. Three firefighting teams struggled to contain the blaze that engulfed the two-room apartment located on the last floor. The fire was localized close to 10am and was liquidated 20 minutes later.
A woman in an unconscious state was found in the apartment. She was rushed to the hospital, but could not be saved.
