Woman pays killer to murder her ex-husband and his new partner

A 46-year-old woman from Trinca village of Edinet district ordered the murder of her former husband and his new female partner. The woman was arrested after she gave €2,500 and the plan of the house where the man lived to the killer, who was a police officer under cover, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the Ministry of the Interior, officers of the Division for Combating Organized Crime found out that the woman was looking for a killer to murder her former husband and his partner. A policeman under cover posed as a killer and the woman told him the plan. The woman asked that the two be killed in turn - the ex-husband after the Easter holidays and the woman before them. Initially, the woman insisted that the man be asphyxiated with a polyethylene bag, while the woman be burned alive in the house. Later, she allowed the killer to choose the murder method. She offered him €5,000 for his services. According to the police, the woman had worked in Italy for eight years and came to Moldova for the Easter holidays. She faces 12 to 20 years in jail or life imprisonment.
